杂处易淫,派往繁华以观其色。 February 11 土木系学生和上学期一样,本学期继续做建筑材料试验课的TA。上这课也就是碎碎混凝土,断断钢筋什么的,玩的都是硬气功。选这门课的基本上也都是男生,一共三十几个人,只有一个女生。这样的男女比例倒和在国内非常相似。只是,每次上课时,任凭你使出浑身解数讲得口干舌燥,学生们总是提不起精神,一群和尚大眼瞪小眼。只好跟他们扯些液氮冷冻终结者或者titanic的钢材含磷量太高什么的。
今天下午,去轧钢厂参观,车上全是男生。想起本科实习的时候,放眼望去,工地上黑压压一片,如同五百罗汉下山一般!到了轧钢厂,接待我们的老师傅第一句话就是,上次好像是个lady领队的吧。只好告诉他,Nancy这学期不带实验课,改教土力学了。闹哄哄的车间里,全是红脖或者老墨。老师傅一路是扯着破锣嗓子使劲的吼,试图盖过机器的轰鸣。最后,老师傅问大家有什么问题吗?一个个仿佛才从睡梦中惊醒,彼此面面相觑!
回来的时候,还没到停车场,远远望见biological系的freshman在空地上搞什么团体项目。雪才化没几天,南方姑娘们已是一身奔放的短打扮。这群男男女女闹哄哄玩得好不开心。可怜车上的小伙子们,只能临渊羡鱼般眼巴巴的看着,嘴里嘀咕着“what the hell are they doing?”……
不过据说UT算是为数不多的几个女生比男生多的学校了。在此,向其他兄弟院校的同志们深表同情!
最近新闻上说国内要对高中文理分班制度进行改革。个人非常赞成这一点做法。建国初期,一穷二白,仿效苏联搞文理分班,院校分设,甚至工程师治国的政策,都是为了加快建设,是权宜之计。中学政治告诉我们,生产关系要适应生产力的发展。现在,国内生产力已经发展起来,有些政策也该调整了。这项改革,应时而生,所以,坚决支持。正在念初中的娃们,等待你们的将是前所未有的新新生活!
文理不分,或许学习生活更加多元,不会太单一。让孩子们在人类社会正常男女比例的环境中学习成长,可能也就不会有那么多男女,甚至男男,女女的曲折的故事了。
